This diagram launched me into the trinity , and the desire to teach it ,so I took it piece by piece through the NAB . On the back cover is written " Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ " -St. Jerome . The 1st thing I did was to find out was how the Father , the Son , and Holy Spirit were God , I studied and found John 4:24 , God is Spirit , so with that the Father and Son were Spirits as well as the Holy Spirit , keeping in mind they are separate I had to wrestle with what I found in Leviticus 11:44 , 45 God himself said be holy because I am holy . If the Father , and Son are God , and God is a Spirit and a holy one at that , something in the Nicene Creed got something wrong ,or the NAB got something wrong . If this is the case the newer of the 2 should be rewritten to agree with the original creed one would would think . Now the issue the Father is not the Son ; remember this is all from the NAB , I want it to be known I am not beating around the bush ! Starting with the Father ,in 1 Chronicles 29:10 David's prayer " Blessed are you, Lord God of Israel our father from eternity to eternity. Tell me me based on this how many Fathers do we have : Isaiah 9:5 For a child is born ..... Father for Ever . Matthew 1:20 For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her . Luke 1:35 The holy Spirit will come upon you , this is the 3rd person of the trinity ,not the 1st . Remember they are separate from each other , any thing else is a lie , except Matthew 10:20 The Father will tell you what to say ,Mark 13:11 Same story ,but the holy Spirit will tell you what to say . except these 2 verses . Isaiah 43:11 I , I am the Lord , there is no savior but me . Acts 4:12 13 No other savior but Jesus . A smart Catholic is an educated 1 , unless you have itchy ears for what they tell you

No where in scripture, does it say or call Yashua the one and only God. But throughout scripture, we are commanded to believe and confess (this is the importance of your salvation) to believe and confess that Jesus is the son of God. No where in scripture does it command to believe that Jesus is God. What did the high priest and the chief priests accused Jesus of, was it not claiming to be the Son of the Blessed? Mark 14:61 and Matt 26:63 Notice, the Son. And why is the title of Sonship important? because as a father and son/daughter relationship we are called into. Romans 8:15 we cry out, Abba, Father. Christ is the son of God and the son of man. God is NOT the son of man. We are to know Christ as the son of God as the sacrificial lamb of God as the express image of God as the glory of God, he is the door, the only way to God. so again, let’s be humble as the Eunuch in Acts 8:37 and confess Jesus as the son of God. Anything else you were adding or subtracting from the word of God and your name is subjective to “taken out of the book of Life.”

The trinity is catholic doctrine and not from God. Jesus said " I and the Father are One," There is only name and that name is Jesus. The catholic arguement is of the anti christ placed into existence by men at The First Council of Constantinople around 340 AD.

In Hinduism they have also developed a concept of Trinity as the sumum bonum (totality) of the Absolute Existence (we say God). They call it Bhagavan, Paramatma and Brahman. Although they are part of the same substance, and non-different from each other, they are still different as one proceeds from the other and serves different purpose. The Bhagavan is the Father, the Paramatma is the Son, and the Brahman is the Holy Spirit. They use different terminology, but the concepts are the same.

God Trinity is like a Sun: the Sun is one, but it has three distinct but non-separate features - namely it is a star, it produces light and both produce heat. As you cannot separate any of those three features from the the thing which we call Sun, so you cannot separate any of the three in the Holy Trinity from the God.

"Baptize them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." They are three divine NAMES, not three divine PERSONS! No trinity exists! Who are they? 1. the FATHER : " so that they may behold that glory of mine, which you have given to me, for you loved me BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. 25"O righteous Father, indeed THE WORLD HAS NOT KNOWN YOU, but I HAVE KNOWN you, and these have known that you sent me." The Father is NOT here, He was NEVER here, the world did NOT KNOW Him at all! He still is absent, indeed Jesus HAS KNOWN HIM (i.e. in the past). This is why "No man HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME." INVISIBILITY is not the real reason, the actual reason is that GOD (i.e. the Father) IS ABSENT! 2. the SON: He is the Son, the ONLY KING of heaven...(to be continued) 3. the HOLY SPIRIT: you see in 1. that the Father IS ABSENT. However - even if personally missing - God is able to be here IN THE FORM OF A SPIRIT. This means that you have a GOD'S PRESENCE here, He is PRESENT here with his feelings, his words, his actions, but actually NOBODY IS HERE. He is the "SPIRIT OF GOD" ( "God is a spirit" Jn. 4:23,24). The "Spirit of God" is synonymous with "Holy Spirit" (see Mt. 3:16). In other words, Jesus has a "FATHER who is a SPIRIT" and calls Him sometimes "Holy Father", sometimes "Holy Spirit" according to circumstances. Thus, Jesus never says He is "with 1. the Father AND WITH 2. the Holy Spirit" because they are just TWO EQUIVALENT NAMES for the SAME ONE SPIRIT. Jesus says "I am not ALONE because the Father is with me", i.e. just Father and Son: Jesus doesn't even KNOW what a triune God is!

2 John 1:9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of christ does not have God, whoever continues in the teaching has both the farther (divine conscience/wisdom)and the son ( the lamb/ body/Jesus christ)and the two are one. The one and only true living God.

Isaiah 63:10-14 His holy spirit sent among them (Israel) the arm of power to be at Moses right hand. The same as in Exodus 14:15-16 and Ex 7:11-12 The staff of Aaron or the staff of God the (gift)of the holy spirit for Moses. Not God.

Jesus christ never said that the holy spirit and I are one, John 1:1-14 In the beginning was the word (Jesus christ) and the word was with God (divine conscience/wisdom/farther)and the word, Jesus Christ is God.,,,,,and the word/Jesus Christ became flesh.

The farther is the divine conscience/wisdom of Jesus christ, Jesus Christ is the infinite spirit, tree of life, living water of life, in Jesus christ the fullness of the Diety lives in bodily form, in the body of Jesus christ, the lamb on the throne, Jesus Christ came as water and blood, and the farther ( wisdom) the three are in agreement of the testimony of Jesus christ the one and only true living God who became flesh and dwelled with man.

The holy spirit was sent to reveal Jesus christ, and help the believers to boldly witness to the gospel of Jesus christ, the holy spirit will not bring attention to himself.

What most don’t realize is there is a really big, deep, dark and sinister problem with anyone who calls himself a Christian (follower of Christ) and believes in the doctrine of the trinity. Trinitarians say Jesus is “CO-EQUAL with the Father and the Holy Spirit.” What many don’t know is that anyone who makes this claim or believes this teaching created by man (not God) is outright calling Christ and the Scriptures a liar. Now, why on earth would anyone want do something foolish like that? Christ tells us himself that scripture cannot be broken (John 10:35). God's word reveals that the Father and the Son are in fact NOT CO-EQUAL as the false doctrine of the trinity claims. In the gospel of John, Christ states unambiguously, "MY Father IS GREATER than I." (John 14:28 KJV) “Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to MY GOD and your God.’” (John 20:17) “The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of MY GOD. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of MY GOD and the name of the city of MY GOD, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from MY GOD; and I will also write on them my new name.” (Rev 12:3) Did you catch that? Christ has a God, his Father! We very well know that a son is not greater than his father. Christ also said, “Very truly I tell you, NO SERVANT IS GREATER THAN his master, NOR IS A MESSENGER GREATER THAN the one who sent him.” (John 13:16 NIV) Christ was sent by the Father (John 12:49 GNT). It is also written: “All that my Father has IS MINE; that is why I said that THE SPIRIT will take what I GIVE HIM and TELL it to you.” (John 16:15 GNT) The Spirit speaks and belongs to the Father and Son. The Holy Spirit was sent by Christ (John 7:39 GNT). The Holy Spirit is a minister of God hence Spirit of God (Heb 1:14). He is a servant and does what God commands. The Spirit is OF God not is God. Reread Hebrews 1 and 2. So if anyone truly believes in what Christ said then, Christ is not greater than God as the Father sent him and the Spirit is not greater than Christ as he sent him. The foolishness of the “trinity” is disproved by the very words of Christ! Who is the author and finisher of faith? The Word of God or the inventions of men? Similarly, Paul tells the congregation in Corinth for it is written: “But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God IS SUPREME OVER Christ.” (1 Cor. 11:3 GNT) “But when all things have been placed under Christ's rule, then he himself, the SON, WILL PLACE HIMSELF UNDER GOD, who placed all things under him; and God will rule completely over all.” (1 Cor. 15:28 GNT). The apostle Paul further points out this fact for it is written: “yet there is for us only ONE GOD, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only ONE LORD, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth.” (1 Cor. 8:6-7). How many beings listed? 2 not 3. The apostle John takes it even a step further by giving us a stern warning against the false trinity doctrine as well for it is written: “We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know THE TRUE GOD. We live in union WITH THE TRUE GOD-in union with his SON Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:20-21 GNT). How many beings listed? 2 not 3. All the supplied verses echo exactly what Christ said in John 17:3. So plain and simple. Are you that deceived that you don’t believe in the simplicity of what Christ said? Where is the Holy Spirit included in those verses? Nowhere! Just like the word “trinity” is not found anywhere in the Bible. It simply doesn’t exist and Christ’s very words prove it. Who is the liar? This biblical truth clearly declares without room for error or ambiguity that God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are NOT CO-EQUAL. The Father and the Son are both divine-both God Beings-but fulfill very different roles. And the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God/Angel of the Lord) is not part of the Godhead. Holy angels are ministering spirits. The very description of the holy angels is found in Hebrews for it is written: "What are the ANGELS, then? They ARE SPIRITS who SERVE God and ARE SENT by Him to HELP those who are to RECEIVE SALVATION." (Hebrews 1:14) There is our “helper”/Spirit OF God and the Spirit himself says he is not to be worshiped (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9). Nowhere in the Bible does is say that the Holy Spirit is God, nowhere! Christ tells us who the Godhead is in John 17:3 (2 not 3). If Christ is truly the author and finisher of our faith, why wouldn’t anyone believe what he actually said? In John 10:30 and 17:3, Christ's very words clearly disproves the false, pagan man-made doctrine of the trinity. Paul calls this false teaching belonging to a different Jesus, gospel and spirit (2 Cor. 11:4) The question for all who read this is: Do you believe in what the Christ of the Bible said or not? For Christ simply stated: “Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (John 8:47 NIV). This is a very strong indictment by Christ for those who don't believe in what He said. Believing in the pagan doctrine of the trinity is breaking the 1st Commandment. Since its called the 'central doctrine of the Christain faith' Why do I not find either the word 'trinity' or the definition 'One God in three persons' or God th father, Son & Holy Spirit'? anywhere in the bible? where is it? I have found 'God the Father' 37 times! 'God the son, zero times. 'God the Holy Spirit' Zero times! Oh dear! Could be that its a manmade doctrine based on prechristian paganism? In Genesis 2: 21, 22 God created woman from the rib of man. 2:23 Adam says " This 1, at last, is bone of my bones & flesh of my flesh ;.. Now comes Jesus in John 1:18 pg.145 same scenario but out from God . John 12:45 pg. 164 was addressed to the pharisees, & John 14:9 pg. 166 to the disciples . Now the issue of the Father, & the Son not being the Holy Spirit , they are both God , what does the NAB say about God. John 4:24 pg.150 God is Spirit. What does that make the Father, & Son ? In Lev. 11:44, 21:8, 1st Peter 1:16, pg. 356 God in all 3 verses says be holy as I am holy . What does make the Father, & Son now? Mat. 6:9, pg. 23 & Luke 11:2 pg. 120 Father , hallowed be your name , hallowed means holy, & consecrated. is the Father a Spirit, & if he is is he Holy by name, & not 1st person of the trinity? Why doesn't Acts 2:38 pg. 180, & pg. 181 say In the name of the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit? Can the Holy Spirit be a gift as well as the 3rd person of the trinity? In is. 43:11 I, I am the Lord there is no savior but me. In Acts 4:12 pg. 183 There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved. Acts 4:13 pg. 183 companions of Jesus. Do they toss a coin to see who saves you? In Acts 2:38 pg. 180, & 181 in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, in Hebrews 9:22 pg. 340 According to the law almost everything is purified by blood, & without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. 1 Lord, 1 faith, 1 baptism, Eph. 4:5 pg. 289 . When Shakespeare thinks, he creates Hamlet, whose intellect and will is not his own, but that of Shakespeare. But when God thinks of Shakespeare, a being with his own intellect and will is created. Romeo and Juliet can't debate the existence of Shakespeare unless the author puts those very words in their mouths. The very fact they are debating Shakespeare's existence proves his existence.

Notice in Mark 10:40 and Matthew 20:23 that Jesus testify there is something in the heavens not belong to him To be unable to decide means they are not co-equal and one in power as the trinity teaches ► If Jesus is God WHY the Bible says Jesus has God Notice “therefore, God, your God” in Hebrews 1:9 it means "God, Jesus' God" isn't it? VERY CLEAR Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy." Revelation 1:6 John says "He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to HIS GOD" Notice the “the God of our Lord Jesus” Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ ,... 1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! ... Notice how Jesus himself says he has God John 8:40 "But as it is, you are seeking to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God ; this Abraham did not do. To call another GOD mean they are not both God as the Trinity teaches ► If Jesus is God, Why does he keep calling the Father MY GOD on earth (John 20:17) and after more than 70 years in heaven (Revelation 3:2 and Revelation 3:12), while God cannot have God or call another MY GOD? You know its same with the mystery of the transubsatation and this trinity. Really its a useless explanations of human definitions. After all the centuries of debates and schisms. Can you define the soul or faith or human behaviour.

There are things that our earthly mind and words can’t describe, we don’t have to, we just have to accept. There is the known and the unknown and the unknowable.

Baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church, I love hearing from Protestant and Catholic thinkers and clergy. Bishop Sheen is among my favorite Christian thinkers/speakers. A blessing to me!

- None has come even close to him in explaining the nature of the Trinity. It seems I almost have started to sort of miss this man BEFORE even knowing him well - just a few weeks, decades AFTER his death. Now, how is that so?

In my opinion, the closest example of the doctrine of the Trinity is what happens in a Democracy. In a democracy, ONE government is made up of 3 branches, namely the Executive (President) , Judiciary and Legislature. Each branch has a specific role but they all constitute ONE government, not THREE
